A Litany (Exodus 33:12-23)
There be deserts we must face and cross.
But only if you go with us.
There be wilderness we must walk to the end.
But only if you go with us.
There be self-doubt and trembling we must outlast.
But only if you go with us.
There be exhaustion and loss we must bear.
But only if you go with us.
There be forgetfulness and disarray to overcome.
But only if you go with us.
There be burdens to shoulder until journey’s end.
But only if you go with us.
There be at last a land of promise and rest.
All: But only if you go with us.
